The basics
The Hangar Flight Museum (formerly the Aero Space Museum of Calgary) maintains a collection of some two dozen historic aircraft, including a replica of a 1907 AEA Silver Dart, F-101B Voodoo, and an S-51 Dragonfly. On select days, the museum offers visitors the opportunity to sit inside one of the historic aircraft.

The Hangar Flight Museum is located near the intersection of McKnight Blvd and McCall Way in Calgary, not far from the airport. Parking is available onsite.
When to get there
The museum is open daily throughout the year from 10am to 4pm. Plan your visit in the afternoon on school days after most school groups have left for the day.
