Viator vreselijke service!
Samuel_H
, feb. 2020
Dear Samuel,
1. We sent the confirmation to you days ago and reminded you about the travel date of the booking. And you called us in the morning of the tour date to change the date to the next day.
2. Our rule is that we shall NOT change it or refund it as it is already on the tour date. But as courtesy, we helped you to amend it to the next day for you to have more flexibility.
3. However, then you required to change it AGAIN to July. We refused to change it as it is already not our responsibility.
We have done our best as per the terms and conditions. Have a good day.

One of our Greatest Experiences of our lives!

This was one of the Greatest Experiences of my life and my family would agree it was theirs as well. I am lucky that Viator was able to secure these tickets for me. My family will always cherish our experience here. Dana, our tour guide, was exceptional. I am happy that the Navajos are protecting this precious natural gift. Visitors have a tendency of destroying everything they find wonderful.

Very short and a lot of people. Lower antelope is much better. Daily tickets are available onsite and much cheaper.
Not worth it. Take Lower canyon tour instead!

, jun. 2022
If you couldn’t get on the 11:00 or 11:45 tour, forget it as you will miss the light beam shooting down.
Other time slots are rip offs because you could see much as it’s dark on the ground. Plus they don’t allow you to take off your mask when you taking pictures! For $214/person it’s not worth it as you won’t have a good photo with you in it. We took the lower antelop canyon with only $61/person and pictures were as good as the ones we took at the this tour! They allow you to take off mask when you are taking pictures so we had so many nice pictures.

Sorry about your feelings. The operator was strict with mask policy which is a good thing to see. No double standards and no slack in reinforcing the rule. Antelope Canyon belongs to the Navajo Nation, which is a sovereign state - their President is not the POTUS so usual rules/laws that apply in the US doesn’t apply to their land. During the covid pandemic, the Navajo Nation was badly affected with the world’s highest infection rates at one point of time.
Navajo Nation does not have readily accessible water and medical amenities so covid hit them hard. Their President allowed the re-opening of businesses with the condition that masks are worn.
Price and mask

First of all go directly to Navaho in Antelope canyon and buy tickets for 100$ per person for cash, on site sold out but they has a lot tracks. Call them!
also mask required everywhere, and doesn’t matter have vaccinations or no(((
Reactie van aanbieder , jun. 2022
Thanks for your feedback. We understand your feedback regarding the pricing. As the Antelope Canyon is quite popular, the tickets get sold out quickly days before
you travel. We pre-arranged the tickets and the additional cost was applied. Also this is the same price we sell to all of our customers.

The canyon, even though only a quarter mile long is absolutely stunning and beautiful. Mike, our tour guide was awesome talking about the formations as well as giving us photography tips. The only thing I didn’t like was on the reservation, they still make you wear masks and the initial orientation lady was a bit of a Nazi about it. Also, be advised reservation time is different than the rest of Arizona.
Great tour but misleading instructions on how to find the tour......
Lori_S
, mei 2022
The tour was beautiful and well executed. It was a great experience.
Some feedback- The instructions from Viator regarding how redeem the tickets were incorrect. The instructions said that you needed to go to a specific location to redeem your ticket but you need to go to a different location to join the tour. This was not the case. After riding around for a bit, we finally found a sign for "Upper Antelope tours" but there no signs regarding the tour companies that operated out of that location. Thankfully this location did accept the ticket from the tour company "Take your Trip" booked through Viator. Note: As of May 25th, masks were required during the entire tour.
Don’t worry - it will be worth it!

Stunning site, absolutely worth the high price, uncomfortable ride, and mediocre guide. We overheard much better guides in other groups, but ours was her 4th day, and she added almost nothing of value to the experience. But it didn’t matter much. The visual experience was everything! So glad we went!
Overpriced
Valerie_B
, mei 2022
Skip it and go to the Lower Antelope instead. Much better and half the price. Tour Guide was also extremely mean.
Anna
, mei 2022
Skip the Upper Antelope. The Lower Antelope is much better and half the price cheaper. Perhaps due to the time of our tour (7 am), there were not many lights and nothing much to see. The tour guide from Navajo Tour was incredibly mean (His name was Roger or Robert). We understood the mask-always-on policy, and we kept our masks on. We briefly took it off, took a photo, and wore it back on. He approached us, demanded to see our phones, and scolded us like scolding schoolchildren. We wore the mask on immediately. Yet he still keeps calling us out along the tour. He said if we take off our masks, somebody could send us to prison. Not only that, but he also kept saying he would have to escort us out of the tour. "Unless you have a lot of money, that would be a real waste because this tour is expensive, " he said precisely. We understood the policy, and we apologized immediately. But we did not appreciate the constant scolding and calling out our names, especially when we paid $300 for the trip.
Reactie van aanbieder , mei 2022
Sorry about your feelings. Currently the masks are still required on Navajo Nation which is a common rule to all visitors. We understand that no matter what the rule is, the guide should always keep their professionalism to serve each guest. We also hope this policy could be changed in future.

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
